 SessionTimer
This handy feature allows you to predefine and control the length of user session for each user. A countdown clock will be displayed on the screen and two notification messages will appear 5 minutes and 1 minute before the end of session. Users can send a message to the eCover Manager requesting to extend the session.
Web Links
eCover Client provides patrons with easy access to internet sites, catalogs, library resources through its Links feature. All the links in this section are organized in categories, such as, Catalogs, Search Engines, Other Resources, etc.
Messager
At any time during user session, library staff can send administrative messages to individual stations or all public machines at once. This way staff can easily announce to patrons that the library is closing, or send any other alerts or messages.
Clock
For the convenience on library patrons, a clock can be displayed on the eCover Client's desktop. This clock is automatically synchronized with eCover Manager station, which, in turn, synchronizes with the US atomic clock over the Internet.
